Another hiccup

...but all's well!!
The hiccup is that, after the HD went on my laptop and I had it back for 10 days when the battery pack went. As it was bought in the UK, I can't get the darned thing over here for love nor money so I have to rely on the occasional donation of 'online-time' that DH deigns to allow me!!
Still, I've had the opportunity to exercise some 'inner strength' stuff and I am feeling 100%.
On top of the usual pre Christmas blitz on the house getting done, we planted herbs and veggies and the kids have gotten into scrapping!! Waayyyhaaaaaaay!! More reasons for me to do scrapping!!
I'm well into my Gratitude journal and am lovin' it. Even it's taken me a whole year to finally get the full meaning of my chosen word for the year!! So GRATEFUL. I'm thinking I'll use it alongside my A-Z project with It's a Creative World. Can't wait for that. There's a bunch of UKS girls doing it as well so will be a good thing for the year!!
As for the family, Christmas was lovely, just right- not too much rubbishy wasteful expense then a good time with our 'adopted' family & friends. What this l'il fam is looking forward to most is the MIL visiting for a whole month!!! Arrives NYE so should be an absolute rev-up for the bairns!!!!
All in all, a roller-coaster year which has taught me a great deal about my- and our combined!- ability to deal with lifes ups and downs with relative ease and positivity.
And GRATITUDE.
Soooooo grateful I chose that word.
Now, what to think of for next year's word.....
