Well, I managed 4 LOs for the CC on UKS......sooooo enjoyable but, grief, I wish I could have the time to myself to just join in and be in it without the distractions....sooooooo frustrating.
Crikey, I had to rush.....as you can tell. First, I'm no expert and secondly, I've very little time or products to produce work of outstanding interest!! The main thing is that I love this scrapbooking lark.......I find that I get 'lost' while I'm scrapping, it makes me happy and time-unfortunately- flies by whilst I'm doing this. My kids are still too young to let me 'get on with it' whilst I give them the bits I'm not keen on to mess about with!!
Still, I grabbed those 3 hours and was totally euphoric!!! Wow, I wish I could churn out stuff like Ali Edwards(who was on UKS CC Sat night as a Surprise guest along with Rhonna Farrer!!! How cool!!?), Cathy Zielske, Becky Higgins, Elsie Flannagan, Britney Mellen, Stacy Julian... but my style is my style though I've not ID'd it yet!!! I've got the 'A Designer's Eye' book to help me decide.....I think I gear towards the simple yet I love, love love the Rhonna LOs etc!! Aaaaah, the power of choice. And, boy, I wish I could do that doodling thing.....love it, love it!!!!
Anyway, life's good here. I should be grateful as I actually do have more time really than I did in the UK!!! I just need my stuff which doesn't come over til mid-end June......I so want my pasta maker!!
Anzac Day tomorrow. It seems to be quite a respected day all in all over here; I suppose like D-Day celebrations and Remembrance Day in the UK. I look forward to seeing how the Australians celebrate it.
