Finally, I get the adaptor sent from the U.S. of A (took all of 8 days-woohoo!!) Then, I go and get a Trojan bloomin virus. I reckon it's cos the kids are 7 and 8 and have been innocently searching the net about what men and women may do in the privacy of their own bedrooms!! Say no more. Needless to say, I have an issue as to which anti-virus stuff to get etc. This is the 3rd thing to go wrong on my laptop since October, Hallowe'en to be precise!!! Spooky? I think it's a hint for me to have a new one!!!?? Ah well, we'll see.
Twins have both had chicken pox over the summer hols which has meant we've not been able to go anywhere-responsibly!!- in public since NYE. That's the MIL's month here been spoiled somewhat. Mind you, she's also not got her driving licence with her so she can't blame us entirely for nnot seeing any sites of S.A. Still, she's only here to see and spoil the grandkids....and, boy, has she spoiled them. They've eaten more sugar the last month than since her last visit in August 06!!! I'm OK with the help with the housework- I've had to be!- but I'm still not entirely settled with ironed knickers and towels!!Still, only til SAt.
My word of the year? JoY. joY. jOy.
(Just remember that when you're knee deep in iron, scrappinpom!!)
Must fly, make sure the house is still sanitised before the others return from shopping.........except eldest twin DS who has loadsa poxy poxes.
