Just some of the LOs I've managed to do just recently, albeit rushed, I've tried to stick to my new-found philosophy of 'scrimple' scrapping: simple and scrimped on the supplies!!
It's been alot easier this last week or so as our stuff came over from the UK. Some of it is noticeable in its absence however, like my light box and my heat gun!!! Not been able to emboss stuff but, hey, I've got tons of other stuff to play with including some of my lovely Chatterbox papers. I still have to fit around the kids wanting the PC or DH snoring in bed/watching TV but it's seeming like my 'making a mess with paper' is a tad more acceptable now!! The kids appreciate my efforts and really, that's all that matters. I have been able to scrabble together my 'Dream Home' book. It's a reeeeeeeally basic scrapbook, y'know, the sugar paper ones that we all had in school? One of those! Yup, and I love it! I've separated it into sections and can write about it. That's not what's pictured though.....there's alot more to go before I'll even dare to show that one!!
The swap is going OK for me....not for the lady who the swap was for though it seems! She seems a tad negative and I'm getting wind of her 'moaning' and stuff! Ungrateful or what considering all the extra time/travel I have before and after work just so she can have a break. Well, I've told the 'powers-that-be' that, if it's such a chore for her, she can return and I'll carry on in my main position. And as for why it's all too much, I'll never know!
Hey ho! Off out Friday for a Hen's Night....should be a good girlie night out! My first 'real' girlie night out in Australia!!
