Yep, found a cracking store near work that has some real bargains........inspired by replenishing my collection from the UK(that never made their way here!!!) of Robbie Williams CDs. He was playing here in Adelaide on Tues...couldn't get tickets when I could then actually afford 'em, but, hey ne'er mind. Got my Robbie collection back now. DH can buy me the new one for Christmas!!
Today was a little success story at work so I went and treated myself to a Foo Fighters CD,'In Your Honour'. Fab. Wanted it for ages....nearly bought that as well the other day but restrained myself. Couldn't resist today. My 'reward' for 3 months of 'chasing' and searching. It's like finding my scrap mojo again!! Like finding my hipster, music-loving self again who longs to go to a great festival/gig again and bop around like a daft thing!!
Got Green Day as well t'other day and Joss Stone. That place is going to be my solace , I think!!
Loving the rawness, the rough croaky strains...just fab!!!
There are more CDs I'll buy in the next few weeks I'm sure; they always have $10 bargains out the front.
I've also treated myself to 2 tops when I went shopping with KB from work. retro, long top shirts....groovy. Deffo finding my 'mojo' again. Finding 'me'.
It's all good.
