Art Journal...finally!

Yes, I have finally mustered up the courage to play, make a mess, mistakes and merry with an art journal. I already have a 'Freedom Journal'(random stuff re:me, life, words etc; a diary/journal; an 'Ideas for Scraplifting Journal'; this blog and now an 'Art, Play & Stuff Journal', more of a 'practice' thing and I've had great fun just not monitoring what's in there, the neatness etc. It's all just about the visual stuff I love and am grateful for! And, boy, did DD look at me strangely when I was inking the pages!!
I've gone through a load of SB mags and cut out the images for my 'I4S/L' and that felt really kinda cleansing. Needless to say, it leaves room for perhaps 1 or 2 of those lovely new books...Heidi Swapp's 'Just for Looks', the new Autumn Leaves one or maybe the 'Real.Life.Scrapbooking' one??? Hmmm, which shall I choose!! Can't wait really for Ali E's new one to come out...I will be all over that one!
Anyhoo, I'm off to try and find out who sings the gorgeous song on Lea's sit, y'know, the one that goes "If I lay here, will you lay with me and just forget the world..." that one I love love love it

Oh, and pics of a few of the LOs I've done over the past few weeks/months but haven't been able to take pics of but I can now ...'cos I bought mesel' a -v.cheapy- little digital picture-taking doohickey(lovin' that word!!)camera-type thing!! Go me!!
