Hectic

Life's been kinda hectic lately even though I've been off work and the kids are on 1/2 term hols.......it's like plaiting fog doing all of this on my own!! I thought they'd be easier to entertain/keep busy and occupy whilst I actually sit down and get some scrapping and housework done!! Ohhhh no! Not likely! When my kids realize Mama's doing what she wants to do, it's interruption after interruption!!
There is nothing I can do for it but console myself with a new camera as mine's finally died BH(Beyond Help) and I'm missing so many chances just to snap the everyday stuff. I missed an awesome rainbow as well last week.
And I've bought a pestle and mortar so I can console with homemade pesto....mmmmmm.
made Orange Cake last weekend- gorgeous. It was a recipe from a BHG mag- 1st time in ages I followed a mag recipe that worked out!! (I usually burn 'em or miss out a vital ingredient to the success of the dish!!)
Hey ho, off to get the kids ready for a party then I'll go via a camera shop , maybe even to Scrapbook Station..........is that too scary though with 3 post-party-sugared-up kids!? I'll see how it goes.....
So nice catching up with the blogs I like and Emily Falconbridge's 2nd daughter also has a gorgeous name- Yindi. And I was amazed because I knew it was an Aboriginal name- picked up something since we got here!! Brain's not totally mushed!!
