Yaaaaaaaaay!! Our ship's come in!!!
Yup, our stuff from UK's been delivered! Fab. Feels more homely and I can now do the washing at home!! I have my stash/scrap stuff-except my heat gun and cutting shapes!! Hey ho, isn't like they're not available here.
Some things I wanted didn't get bloomin' well packed, sadly but, again, apart from a few sentimental items that I try not to think about, they're only things. They can be replaced.
So, this weekend has been scrapping, scrapping, scrapping time! sorted things out so I can now either work up or downstairs and still be productive. The kids are less 'pestery' when I'm scrapping, DD even joins in in her own sweet way and has her own 'stash' which she keeps in a KMart calico bag!! She loves it! So proud of her 'Bratz' scrapbook/journal!
DH has left me alone to scrap on the odd occasion but I'm getting braver about scrapping when he's vegging in the bed! Need to stop thinking that I can't 'play' with my toys if he's watching the Socceroos or the England team!! Mind you, I'm quite ok not to scrap during these matches in spite of the lack of sleep 'cos of the time difference!
Life with eldest twin DS has eased a little; he's been a diamond for the rest of the week at school and a star for the weekend again!! See, he's had less overwhelming/noisy environment, calmer people/adults around him and he's been kept occupied with things/puzzles/books/maths/moving about/time on his own with Mummy or Daddy when he's not wanted to just 'be'. Had his hair cut at the barber's who thought he was just great. And he is. Great.
Of course, so are the other two offspring. They're all adorable, curious, sweet, witty, funny, doolally, clever, feisty, sassy, greedy, persistent, learning, good-looking, healthy, happy bundles of primary school magic!
Oh, and yes, I was asked the 'S' question this weekend! Brief, honest answer given..... DD replied with, "Oh, right. I see. Can we mix the cake mixture now?" ! ! ! ! ! ! !
