the UKS prompt was about how my scrapbooks would appear to anyone finding them in 50 years time........
Hmmmmm, they would probably see that I never had enough time or stash to do them 'properly' but they would see that I love my family and life by the expressions and the journalling therein.
Hopefully they would see that they are timeless and not 'trend-driven', more that the LOs are thought about and heartfelt rather than cluttered with tons of embellishments! As the kids are the centre of my world, so are the pics in the LOs.
That's what I would hope they would see; whether it would turn out in reality........
Anyhoo, have had a nice rebate from the Tax Office so I may yet be able to buy some lovely stamps and papers(AL Flourishes are a-calling me, I'm sure!!!) and then possibly get that little laptop so I can do my own thing without too many interruptions or delays!!! I've been longing to get some more daily disposable Contact lenses (my supply I brought from the UK ran out ages ago.......
DS1 found the missing part for the hosepipe so we can water the lawns tomorrow(mind you, there's a fair bit of rain atm!!!)
To top off a good day, we're off to a wedding on the beach later....Congrats to Kirsty & Scott!
It's all good. It really is all good today!!!!
