Q

If I were Queen for a day, it would involve alot-and I mean, alot- of 'me-time'.
I would wake up when I wanted to, get showered, dressed when I wanted to, have what I wanted for breakfast. I would then sit at my desk, my PC with my stash and email & write letters or phone all my friends in the UK. After doing some online shopping for general supplies-and SB stash- I would then be driven to the CBD, have a coffee in Starbucks- or Gloria Jeans in Borders (after buying some books in Borders!!) here in Adelaide- before hitting the shops to search for some nice boho chic/vintage/retro stuff for which, of course, money would be no object. I would then go to the scrapping store and buy up a load of stash, go home and then scrap, scrap and scrap. Of course, during my shopping spree, I would have taken lots of pictures (with a fast-snapping digital camera) and printed all of them off when I returned to my 'palace' which would have been cleaned & tidied whilst I was out. Whilst the pics were printing, I'd try on my new stuff- it would all look really great!!- then welcome the kids home with open arms and a home-cooked meal and lots of interesting stuff to end their day from school with.
How selfish a Queen would I be!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Y'see, I wouldn't want just one day of that, I'd want at least a month!!!! Without bills to pay, debts to worry about; someone else would do that so I wouldn't even have the hassle of it when I wasn't Queen for the Day!!
Ultimately, that's what I'd like; all my major, ongoing hassles and worries sorted out on that one day and then I'd still feel like a Queen, even if I didn't have a pile of money to spend(I'm quite happy in a thrift store really!!)
Hmmmm, would I want all that?
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssss!!!!!

I'm with you on needing more than one day! We all deserve to be a queen once in awhile, don't you think?
